aether is a new way to travel, offering a calm, private space away from the main terminal, with elevated dining, attentive service and the quiet confidence that every detail is seamlessly taken care of.
The Private Terminal, exclusively at Manchester Airport, is open to all passengers regardless of airline or ticket class. It offers a complete departure or arrival experience in a space that has been thoughtfully designed to put you at ease ahead of your flight.
From the moment you arrive, your aether Host is there to welcome you and anticipate your every need. Seamless check-in, private security screening and dedicated border control take place within the terminal, where your bags are also handled for you. For arriving passengers, you are met at your gate and guided through the same discreet process.
Inside the Private Terminal, you are met with unparalleled panoramic runway views, enjoyed from the tranquillity of the luxurious lounge area. Savour Dining at aether, and choose from The aether Menu, created by our in-house chefs, or The Signature Menu by Adam Reid, award-winning Chef Patron of The French. Our menus are served alongside a selection of premium alcoholic and soft drinks.
When it is time to board, you will be guided to a chauffeur-driven BMW, offering you rare airside views as you are taken directly to your gate.

Participating airlines
If you're travelling with cabin baggage, you can depart or arrive with any airline. You can depart with checked baggage if you use twilight bag drop or if you're flying with a participating airline.
Dining at aether
Choose from The aether Menu, created by our in-house chefs, or The Signature Menu by Adam Reid, featuring refined dishes from the award-winning Chef Patron of The French.
Getting to aether
You can get to the Private Terminal by chauffeur, taxi or your own car. Alternatively, you can travel to Manchester Airport’s public transport hub and take a taxi to aether. Find directions and how to book parking here.
